....and it's definitely worth your time. One of the closest races I've ever had the pleasure of watching.

It was bloody exciting watching live at the circuit. All three races were fantastic.

Oh, and yes Brian. The drone of a pack of Triumph engined moto2 bikes did sound awesome.

The good news, all the Triumph engines completed the race without any failures.

One bike however did run out of fuel on the cool down lap.

We were introduced to the the new formula for 2019. Moto-E.

Electric bikes will be trial raced at 5 of the European rounds this year, with a view to expanding across all rounds in future.

They certainly look the part.

Lancsbiker does Qatar. One dramatic city.
Lancsbiker logo'd shirt worn prior to taxi to circuit.
Very hot in the daytime but a very chilling wind each evening.

I chatted with a suntanned, skinny Italian in the paddock. Claimed he rode a Yamaha of some description.

I should have inquired where his neck pass came from. It appeared to gain him entry into anywhere he wanted.

Well have to say, you look happy to see him but that skinny bloke is not so sure. Maybe something to do with where his other hand was.
