I have no practical experience of one but I like them. They really do look like they will carry a person anywhere. Just slowly! Look on YouTube for FortNine. His reviews always are devoid of bollocks, just realistic comments. He reviewed the Himalayan recently.

This review is supposedly unbiased. Worth watching purely on the basis of the high quality drone footage.

My friend Richard owns one. He likes the bike, but does remark how it feels underpowered and gives the impression of being worked very hard when doing 60mph.

Hi
I have read the reviews and my riding partner has one but I was just seeing if anyone had experience of them,

On paper they look under powered but in practice they have the same power as an old slow rev'ing British bike, although the UK did not have motorways then.

My thoughts are, why would you!  ;D ;D ;D

I think people are sold on nostalgia; however they will probably tell me its less technologically advanced and therefore less likely to go wrong or I can fix it with a spanner or unaided by any diagnostic equipment. Having said all that I admit I have never ridden one, nor would I want to. I thought the days of good old British inefficient engineered motorcycles had long gone, however sad it may be. Why try and bring it back, isn't that what killed off the industry in the first place, no imagination and little investment in the future of our engineers and designers. So what do we do, go and by the bike for nostalgia.

'gets off horse'

just my thoughts

oh and edit: cheap, its a cheap motorcycle

 :)
