I prefer Murphy's and Beamish at room temperature NOT chilled. A lot of pubs in Ireland have a choice of chilled or not.

Must admit i could have fancied this trip but other commitments etc. etc.

Corrected that one for you sir....

And, I noticed the Tiger hadn't yet had the opportunity to venture overseas, so I'll take that one on this little jaunt. After all, very little luggage space needed for just 3 nights.

Oddly the Guinness in the UK is nothing like that in the Republic of Ireland, I'm not over keen on it here but a different drink over there. ;)

Nothing but nothing can prepare them for The Hi Viz Underpants.

In all probability, by mid May they will have told the EU they insist on all borders with England being permanently closed.

I wonder if they have ever called in a Priest to exorcise a pair of underpants ?

Actually, I'm considering a marketing campaign for Ireland that will compliment my Hi-Vis Biker's Underpants.

We all know that the Irish countryside can be quite boggy, so for the Irish market I'm introducing Hi-Vis Wellies!

Besides being able to be worn by bikers, many outdoor workers will also welcome these.

OK guys. Just 12 days to departure.
If there is any last minute preparation you need to do to the bike. Now is the time.
This trip seemed far distant when first muted, but the time nears.
From previous experience, don't bother with breakfast on the Thursday of departure. The ferry serves an inclusive breakfast shortly after sailing.
Brian, I'm going to suggest we meet you at Starbucks on the north side of J3 of the M58 about 7.20am for a quick coffee.
The three of us will already have joined forces at the Tickled Trout services a little earlier.
I would suggest departing on fullish tanks as petrol is cheaper here than in ROI. It also means a quick ferry exit in Dublin.
Don't forget your passport!

That works for me.

Roads in that area are hell in the morning ! And in the evening and pretty crappy in between.

Do I need anything ticket wise ? I know you posted a number somewhere but can't find it right now.

No worry. I've printed the ticket references and just resent the text message with all the relevant reference numbers required.

OK, it slotted in nicely under the first one, you just can't get the staff.

Do you have the GPS coordinates for our stops in Ireland, just in case you big balled bikers riding your MotoGP capable monsters decide to go play and leave me for dead. I'm Doohan era.
