Just bought a new Bluetooth headset, to link up with my Garmin Zumo, tested it and it pairs fine.

I know that some Bluetooth headsets will link up with other units  ie to allow rider to rider communication and it seems the range varies depending on which manufacturer.

Questions
Do only certain makes only link up with the same make ie Sena with Sena, I've a BT Intercom which optimistically states it can do rider to rider 800-1000metres. Would a BT make link up and allow to talk to a rider with a Sena or other make?  What dictates the compatibility is it the type of Bluetooth used?
Thanks

I'm looking for some sort of clear adhesive sticker type stuff that I can put on an area where my boot is rubbing a side panel.  Ive had a look on ebay and there seems to be loads of types. Has anyone used anything specific on their bikes or could recommend something?

Thanks.
